Our stay at Southern Memories was out of this world!! It was the perfect landing spot situated perfectly between all the attractions and things we wanted to do. The cabin was immaculate, clean, and stocked with everything we needed from towels to kitchen appliances and gadgets. We cooked a lot of our meals and spent the mornings on the deck in the hot tub with coffee and the sounds of rain on the roof, falling through the leaves, and birds chirping. Total zen experience. The grill is on the covered deck, so we were still able to cook a delicious dinner although it was raining. The boys took over the upstairs with the pool table and tv, making some amazing memories. Between breaks in the rain we shot off to ride go karts, mountain coasters, and visited the Titanic attraction. We were also close to the Parkway, so it was easy to shoot up to downtown and hit the strip and scenic park routes. This home was exactly what we were looking for from top to bottom! The pool table, the hot tub, the privacy, the kitchen, the location, EVERYTHING. This was the perfect landing spot between adventures. Perfectly centered between Parkway and downtown Gatlinburg, it was easy to get to wherever we wanted to go. We were able to cook meals between outings, and chill in the hot tub and listen to the rain. The boys became professional pool sharks before we left too! We were very pleased with the cabin and the rooms it had to offer. We were a little disappointed at the lack of the Mountain View, but grateful to have a place to stay. Glad you all enjoyed the cabin The Sherwood Forest Resort where it is located. So sorry you were disappointed in the view, however, we do not advertise that this cabin offers a mountain view. Instead, it is located at the end of a cul-de-sac and offers a little more privacy that most cabins.

We had a great time was there for Thanksgiving the cabin was beautiful plenty of of room and the location was great we were out far enough to have piece and quite but not to far from the parkway. Shaun was so nice and very professional every time I talked to him making our reservations to keeping us informed about what we needed to do before our arrival to the day we were leaving. The Southern Memories cabin is in a great location and is nicely appointed and equipped inside. My grown son and I used the cabin for our annual mountain motorcycle riding trip this year and it was perfect for the truck and trailer and the two motorcycles as well. No problems during our 5 night stay! My son took the upstairs bedroom and bathroom and I took the downstairs bedroom and bathroom. We enjoyed staying in this cabin. It is right against the hill on the left side, and there are trees with acorns falling off, which took some getting used to, but not a problem. Just had to get used to them hitting the roof haha. The cabin was very clean and cozy! Very tastefully decorated and modern. There is a small coffee pot and also a keurig. We were pleasantly surprised with very nice cookware and dishes, which you don’t find in most places. And to highlight our stay, we saw two bear right outside our cabin! Such a beautiful place to stay, and located really close to Pigeon Forge! The cabin itself was comfortable with a lovely view from the deck. Got to see a couple of black bears during our stay as well, which was awesome!
