Even if fishing isn’t key to your getaway, however, you’ll find plenty to love about this three-bedroom river cottage.
Located in small community, River Waltz is right close to the trout-stocked Little Pigeon River. Walking along the flat path surrounding your cottage you’ll hear the soothing burble of the waters rushing over the rocks. Along with the rustling of the breeze through the trees, the singing of warblers and thrushes during the day, and the chirping of crickets at night, it serves as ideal background music. Whether you’re enjoying breakfast at the main deck’s patio table, cooking dinner on the gas grill, or perhaps best of all, lazing in the hot tub, you can savor the soothing soundtrack.
There’s space for everyone to gather on the great room’s well-cushioned seating area, whether it’s to watch the big game on TV or play charades in the living room. The great room also hosts the dining area, which includes a gorgeous wooden table that seats eight (8). Another three people can sit at the adjacent breakfast bar. If you’re vacationing with another family, set up the kids at the breakfast bar. They’ll love eating “on their own” while the adults linger over their meal at the table.
Speaking of meals, the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare a cordon bleu feast or simply to reheat leftovers from the previous night’s restaurant meal. From a refrigerator to a dishwasher, we’ve got you covered!

Just as the game room takes up nearly all of the downstairs, the secondary suite makes up the entire upstairs level. The bedroom is huge, with 1 King and 1 Queen-sized bed, and a flat-screen TV. The other two bedrooms on the main floor are just as comfortable. One of the main floor bedrooms is a King suite and the other bedroom has a King bed too. Each bedroom has a TV, a ceiling fan and plenty of storage. If you need additional sleeping quarters, in the game room there are 4 Twin sized futons for four, enabling River Waltz to accommodate 12 people in all.

Our family of 6 had a lovely stay at River Waltz! The home was centrally located to restaurants, shopping, grocery stores and local attractions where we could come and go with ease, but yet was tucked away and quiet in a peaceful neighborhood. The home was well-equipped and gave us plenty of space to spread out and feel comfortable. Our kids especially enjoyed the downstairs game and media room. Thank you SOOO MUCH our stay there was BEYOND amazing I really can not find the word to explain how amazing everything in and outside the home was. The kids LOVED the game room it was more than I expected to be honest. I don’t recall seeing the hot tub being listed or pictured on the listing so it was a nice surprise when the kids ran inside saying it was there. We love staying in the chalet homes off Henderson Valley Rd. It’s just far enough away from the noise on the main road yet easily accessible to all the things in Pigeon Forge. The house was spotless upon arrival and couldn’t find a dust bunny anywhere. Lots of fun for the kids and the kids at heart in the basement. It was a hot week, but we truly enjoyed our time at the house. We cooked almost all of our meals at the house and there was plenty of cookware to do so. OMG! The place was amazing. We had a hiccup with the Wi-Fi (unplugged box in master bedroom), but Shaun took it like a champ. Called tech and came over. It was funny because it was only a router unplugged. The kitchen was stocked for a family. There was plenty of towels and extra linings for the sleep sofa in the game room. The walk to the river was relaxing and the hot tub was amazing. The only downside was there was no window treatments on the doors downstairs. We had a blast and will definitely book again! The place was conveniently located to the parkway and to all the local attractions. My teenagers spent the day in Dollywood and the Adults relaxed at the river and hot tub. The cabin was spacious and the river was relaxing. Shaun was the perfect host. He was quick to respond and came out a couple of times due to s TVs and stereo issues.
